The Copernicus Marine Service is organising a 2-day training workshop dedicated to coastal monitoring on 20-21 June, 2024. Targeting the engagement of marine communities from all coastal areas, this workshop aims to share applications of Copernicus Marine Service products in ecosystem monitoring studies and to focus on the main marine and coastal challenges affecting the continents.

Participants will 

  • Learn how the Copernicus Marine Service contributes to supporting the analysis of coastal events, their significance, challenges, and strategies to address them.
  • Discover concrete use case applications.
  • Increase awareness and uptake of COPERNICUS products for coastal environments globally.
  • Attend a practical session dedicated to live demonstrations of the use of the data using: My Ocean Viewer Pro, Jupyter Notebooks, QGIS software, R Studio.
